Class: Infrequently Used Skills Volunteers (IFUS)
| Description: Volunteers are needed for the fall training session at the San Jose Fire Department. This is an excellent opportunity to see firefighter EMTs and paramedics perform their skills in a highly simulated environment. As a volunteer you will be asked to role play a variety of patients, from critically ill medical patients to victims of a mass casualty event. You will be provided information about your role before and on training day.
Wear comfortable clothing that you will not mind getting a little dirty. Women should wear a sports bra and bring a pair of shorts; men should bring a pair of shorts. Sneakers or shoes should be worn, not sandals. Wear little jewelry and/or makeup.
