This 1-day course is geared towards clinically proficient practioners who are currently certified in ACLS. This fast paced course will provide an overview and updates of the skills and didactic information necessary to manage a cardiac arrest, as well as the events leading to and following a cardiac arrest.

If you want to expand your ACLS knowledge we recommend you take the ACLS - Experienced Provider Course. This course completes the regular ACLS revewal by lunch and then covers additional information in the afternoon. Click here for more information.

Course Requirements:

In order to take this course you must have all of the following in class with you:

1. A CURRENT AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA) ACLS PROVIDER CARD. You may be asked to show your card during the course. No other provider cards will be accepted. CURRENT means you are taking the class on or before the "Recommended Date of Renewal". The AHA honors the card for the entire month in which it expires. There is go grace period.
2. A current ACLS Provider Manual (this link is for the online discount book center, not the SFPA) copyright 2006 with computer CD.
3. Complete the ACLS Precourse Checklist
4. Complete the ACLS Pretest, located on the CD (included with manual), if your disk doesn't work call 800-242-8721

Please Note:

Same Day Registration Fee is an additional $10, in addition to the course fee. There is no guarantee of availability. The fee applies to those who register after 4:30pm one business day prior to the course.

Waitlist means the course is full, and no seats are available. If seats become vacant, the registration staff will call those who are on the waitlist. We highly recommend you sign up for a class that states "Enroll". For those who show up the day of class and are admitted, there is a $10 Same Day Registration Fee, this is in additional to the regular course fee. There is no guarantee that a seat will become available, the instructor will turn walk-ins away if all seats are full.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cancellation Policy if you cancel or do not attend the session you registered, you forfeit the entire course fee. We do not give any refunds.

Rescheduling Policy you may reschedule only once. With more than 7 days notice the rescheduling fee is $45. With 7 or less days notice the rescheduling fee is one-half the course fee. Failure to appear in class or day of class notice - will result in forfeiture of your entire course fee. There are no refunds.

Textbooks are sold separately. The link under Course Requirements will direct you to a national bookstore that sells the books for about $10-$15 less than the SFPA. Otherwise click the See Recommended and Required Text to add the book to your shopping card.
